New GCSE results day

For the first time, the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency is allowing schools to download GCSE exams on Monday 23rd August 2010 (previously scheduled for Thursday 26th August). This will allow us to process all results for students and be in a position to give printed results to students on the Tuesday 24th August. The school will be open from 9.00am until 12.00pm for the collection of results.

On Thursday 26th August, the school will have the official printed statements of results from the examination boards, again these can be collected between 9.00am and 12.00pm. For most colleges or further education establishments they will require these before admission.

Students must collect their own results from the school. We will not disclose or pass on any information to family members or friends. For students who do not collect their statements of results on 26th August, we will post them on Thursday afternoon.
