Results
The 2009 Summer results reflected all the hard work of students, our teachers' dedication, and the parents and carers who supported their children and the school in reaching new heights.
41% of all students attained 5 or more GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics at grades A* to C. These are the best results since the introduction of GCSEs two decades ago. The Contextualised Value Added, an indicator used to measure the school's effectiveness, put the school in the top 11% of all schools in England. Around 30% of our students obtained 9 or more GCSE at grades 'C' or higher, one student obtained fourteen. Our Mathematics department was put in the top 3% of all schools. Staff and students are very pleased with these results, but we now aspire to go even higher.
Well done to all our students.
