Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the biggest ever school buildings investment programme. The aim is to rebuild or renew nearly every secondary school in England.

The Birmingham City Council's Building Schools for the Future Programme is split into six phases. George Dixon International School and Sixth Form College are a phase 1 school.

In February 2009 Catalyst Education (Birmingham) Ltd were announced as the Preferred Bidder for Birmingham. We are delighted to be working with Catalyst and their partners to create a school that will meet the needs of 21st Century learning.

Plans are already well advanced for the rebuilding of our school, in a manner that it is hoped will retain much of the site's distinctive character. These are the latest sketches available.
